Get to know us, yes the video is shitty quality. We couldn't be naffed making a good one because it's not a tutorial or anything.

Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation Review.

Howdy y'all, welcome to our first ever review. Chloe and I have both been using Mac's studio sculpt foundation for about a year now and we're both going to share opinions on this product.

CHLOE'S REVIEW

What I like:
Well i personally love it! I  mean it may be expensive, but it's lasted me a very long time, plus it comes with a copious amount in the tube compared to other brands. It's highly pigmented and i find lasts quite a while. Plus with such a vast range of colours it's hard to get the wrong tone and go around looking like a carrot. Me and my lovely friend Grace are both immensely pale, and Mac is actually one of the only mainstream brands which produces a colour pale enough. It's smooth gel glides comfortably over light blemishes, quite easily diminishing redness and freckles!!

What i don't like:
Not much to be honest! It's expensive, but then again Mac is expensive in general for us poor students. Hmm

How i apply it:
First i moisturize my face so there's none of those gross flakey bits! Then using my fingers i blend it under my eyes, on my nose, and over my cheeks. I don't apply it anywhere else as the rest of my face tends to be an even skin tone. Then set with powder, it makes it last longer, but takes away that nice natural dewy look the foundation gives you other wise

GRACE'S REVIEW:

What I like:
When i first bought this product i thought it was a match made in Heaven, it was highly pigmented, covered my every single flaw (which there can be a plethora of during that certain time of the Month), evened out my overly rosy cheeks and even covered a few of the freckles on my Noggin.  UNTIL, one day whilst gazing at my beautiful (JOKING) face in the mirror i realized....

What i don't like:
It looked cakey and really highlighted the dry patches of my skin (i have overly sensitive skin with many dry patches). I have to heavily, and i mean heavily as in a truckload of moisturizer, moisturize my face before this. Maybe it's just not for my skin (BOOHOO!). The price makes me want to cry also.

How i apply mine:
Now, i have used about a trillion ways to apply this to make it look less cakey. I find the best way is to first moisturize with said truck tonne of moisturizer (If you have dry skin like Moi), then squirt a pea sized blob onto your paws and lightly apply it over the main areas of concern i.e, My rosy cheeks, the little annoying bumps I have hiding under my pie hole and the annoying red blotchy bits on the side of my nostrils. I then blend any remaining streaky bits with a sponge and set my T-zone with some powder to keep the shine at bay.

Black cats and kisses 'til next time,
Grace.

As you can see, the foundation does make a difference.  Chloe and I are both shade NC15.

Chloe gives this foundation 9 Black Cats out of ten.
Grace gives this foundation five and a half Black Cats out of Ten.
